EUROCITIES wishes to introduce you to the the third annual European Congress for Wireless and Digital Cities, which will be taking place in Barcelona, Spain in November 2008. For the third year in a row EUROCITIES supports this conference as it has become one of the most important annual meeting places for the municipal wireless and digital government communities.
Following two successful years in Cannes, the organisers have decided the time is right to move to a new venue. Barcelona, as home of the @22 Diagonal Wireless Cities project, seemed to be the perfect choice.
The third Congress will build on the themes on last year’s event and we are now in the process of outlining the conference programme. Key topics will be
The underlying themes, as ever, will be social inclusion, economic development and public safety. We hope to be able to continue and develop some of the lively debate we had on these themes in 2007.
