IDC ICT Leadership Tour
Έναρξη 09:00 - Λήξη 17:00This year's event will focus on the impact of 3rd-Platform technologies (mobility, cloud, big data, and social business) on security, both as an enabler of innovative solutions and a source of new risks. As always, participants will comprise industry experts, thought leaders, C-level decision makers, key private-sector and government stakeholders, and our own IDC experts.
CLOUD
Cloud represents a seismic shift in IT – one that will redefine business when combined with big data & analytics, social and mobile. Cloud optimizes IT and sparks innovation that helps organizations drive results. Cloud is a journey, requiring proven technologies, business culture, expertise and a strong partner ecosystem. The numbers reflect the reality. Globally, spending on just public-cloud services will more than double from $47.4 billion in 2013 to nearly $108 billion in 2017 – five times faster than the IT industry as a whole. With hybrid and private options, this will make cloud not just the foundation for disruptive solutions but possibly for all IT solutions.
IDC's Cloud event series is a unique opportunity to hear from leading experts in the field about top cloud strategies, developing a cloud-first approach, improving overall cloud performance, and operational best practices for managing and optimizing the new cloud models. Open Source versus Proprietary Hypervisor technologies, Security and Compliance, Open Standards, Hybrid and Interoperability, High Availability, and Emerging Cloud Segments are among the critical issues to be discussed, with all participants expected to come away more productive and confident in this emerging technology. Join us this year and discover how we can continue to evolve cloud to become a strategic business advantage rather than just another IT trend.
MOBILITY
The mobile industry continues to be characterized by high levels of growth and opportunity, and as the industry becomes more dynamic and opportunities increase, so do the challenges. IDC expects that, in 2020, one out of five Internet users will be mobile only, and mobile advertising spending will account for 45% of the digital market ($110 billion). Conference topics will focus on this business transformation on the global marketplace, with topics that include broadband acceleration, ongoing concerns around security, compliance, and efficiency, mobility focused processes and business models, customer reach and communication. Expect answers to such questions as “What’s in it for my business?”, "Should my company have a BYOC policy?", "How will social networking remake the enterprise?", "Will mobile apps kill the PC?" and “What are the most interesting innovations in consumer mobility for the enterprise?”
The series program will highlight the contemporary and future mobile industry, challenging and educating delegates while covering the latest technological developments, next-generation services, and growth strategies. From keynote deliveries to topic-focused conference sessions, thought leaders from the most important companies in mobile and adjacent industries will provide in-depth analysis of the trends that are shaping the mobile industry in 2015 and beyond. Open discussions and networking time give attending CIOs and technology executives the opportunity to pore over common problems and discover new and innovative solutions.
