As a Cloud Engineer, your duties will be the following:

• Design, develop, deploy and support Azure-based systems
• Develop and maintain cloud solutions in accordance with best practices
• Identify, analyze and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities
• Escalate proper unresolved queries to the next level of support.
• Undertake IT projects as instructed by the Head of IT Operations.
• Follow the ITIL process (incident, problem, change management, etc.)
• Maintain, support and improve corporate connectivity by proactively monitoring performance, troubleshooting network problems and outages
• Undertake network capacity management and manage IP addressing space
• Ensure SLAs are met, documentation is correct, and policies and procedures are in place
• Document and develop an in-depth knowledge of existing IT architecture / infrastructure and technology portfolio, developing operational monitoring as required including common, integrated road maps for infrastructure operations.
• Identify key risks and manage accordingly, to ensure continuity of services.

In order for your profile to match the Cloud Engineer position, you need to have the following skills:

• 5+ years of work experience Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud (knowledge of cloud resource deployment principles or usage of specific cloud technologies)
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or relevant field
• Experience of using Active Directory / Windows administration
• Experience of site installations and decommissions
• Strong knowledge of Azure IaaS, SaaS, PaaS systems and services
• Understanding of Monitoring tools
• Understanding of Backup systems (preferably Veritas Azure Backup)
• Understanding of SQL Server 2016+ in a clustered environment
• Very good knowledge of English
• Azure certifications may be advantageous

• Communication skills both oral and written
• Time management & Organizational skills
• Ability to set priorities and organize his work in order to meet strict deadlines
• Project-focused attitude and ability to work proactively and efficiently
• Problem solving and troubleshooting skills
